Android Beam, S-Beam, NFC, Bluetooth

For Apple iPhone users, you don’t have these fun things so no confusion at all.

For Android phones, depends on phone makers, two methods to transfer files:

1. Android beam: using Near Field communication (NFC) to connect (tapping) 2 devices, then send (smaller) file via short-distance Bluetooth at slower speed bandwidth;

2. Samsung proprietary “S-beam” using NFC to connect 2 devices, then send (bigger) files via Wi-Fi Direct at faster speed bandwidth.
