Jungle survival navigation: without compass, how to find direction ?
I remember in Sec 1 (1968) my Geography teacher brought 5 of us on hiking on Bukit Timah hill, traversing the forest and at one stage walking on huge PUB Water pipes. He taught us using compass to navigate.
Last month still got young hikers lost in Singapore (McRichee?) forest, wait for Civil Defence with helicopter to save them.
